Meet Viergelyn Chery-Reed

Viergelyn Chery-Reed (she/they) is a Caribbean Indigenous queer intuitive visionary, licensed trauma-focused psychotherapist, professional life coach, and holistic healer. She specializes in complex trauma, intergenerational healing, ancestral wisdom transmission, and regenerative care practices.

As the Founder & Executive Director of Four Waters Rising, a nonprofit rooted in collective healing justice, Viergelyn aims to co-create a world where culturally diverse communities have access to supportive, empowering spaces that foster holistic well-being, creative expression, multidimensional intelligence, and relational connection across generations.

With over 12+ years of experience in clinical mental health counseling, intuitive leadership coaching, spiritual energy work, and somatic healing, her integrative approach bridges trauma-informed therapy, spiritual mentorship, intuitive development, traditional healing practices, and spiritual technologies to generate embodied, collective impact.

As a clinical supervisor, professor, and storyteller, Viergelyn is devoted to creating embodied and activating liberatory spaces and culturally responsive frameworks that affirm culturally centered medicine, ancestral knowledge, and creative expression. Her work seeks to reduce health disparities, address systemic trauma, and empower historically marginalized communities through regenerative practices rooted in inclusion, creativity, wellness, and ancestral restoration.

Meaka Brown

Meet Meaka Brown
Wellness Practitioner | Herbal Educator

Meaka Brown (she/her) born and raised in Boston, MA is a mother of three, community-rooted healer, and passionate advocate for wellness through ancestral plant knowledge, cannabis liberation, and holistic self-care. As a practitioner working at the crossroads of herbal medicine, Reiki, urban farming, and cannabis, Meaka teaches people how to reconnect with the land and themselves—one plant, one breath, and one healing at a time.

From neighborhood gardens to sacred workshops, Meaka’s work uplifts the wisdom of sacred medicine to towards helping destigmatize cannabis and honor the body, mind, and spirit as one living ecosystem. Her hugs are legendary—her hands even more powerful.

At Four Waters Rising, Meaka serves as Co-President of Board of Directors, integrating her deep care, earth wisdom, and organizing spirit to help shape initiatives that restore community from the roots up.

    Meet Cinamon J. Blair

    Impact & Operations Executive | Ancestral Connector

    Cinamon (she/her) is a proud descendant of the Aniyunwiya, Chickahominy, and Choctaw Nations, raised in Brooklyn, NY on Canarsie and Munsee Lenape land. A lifelong believer in the power of self-reflection, Cinamon blends her cultural wisdom, creativity, and music therapy roots to foster deep connection and community healing.

    With over 15 years in higher education finance and cross-departmental leadership, she now serves as the Impact & Operations Executive at Broadsight a woman-led consultancy advancing community-driven agency and self-determination.

    At Four Waters Rising, Cinamon serves as Board Treasurer, integrating her the art of nurturing relationships, uplifting voices, and honoring the truth that when women rise, everyone is elevated.

    ShaQuan (she/her) is a licensed mental health counselor, somatic practitioner, and founder of Rooted in Breath Wellness, where she helps BIPOC women, creatives, and high-performing professionals reconnect with their inner wisdom and break free from trauma, burnout, and performance blocks.

    With 10+ years of clinical experience, ShaQuan specializes in identity-based trauma, perinatal mental health, and nervous system regulation. Her integrative style fuses EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic therapy, yoga, and breathwork to create deep, embodied healing spaces.

    She also mentors fellow therapists in trauma-informed, culturally attuned care—amplifying holistic practices in mental health systems.

    At Four Waters Rising, she contributes her skills and knowledge as Board Secretary and program strategy & development, offering her gifts to a collective vision rooted in liberation, creative growth, and community-centered wellness.
