Our Event Terms & Conditions
Participation & Consent: By registering for a Four Waters Rising (FWR) event, you agree to participate voluntarily and understand that all activities are designed to support collective healing, reflection, and creative expression.
Liability Waiver: All participants must sign a Participation & Liability Waiver Form prior to attending any in-person event. This ensures safety, accountability, and alignment with our trauma-informed community care practices.
Participant Age/Minors: Most events welcome intergenerational participants. However, anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event.
Recording & Photography: Select events may include photography, audio, or video documentation for community archives and organizational storytelling. By attending, you consent to the use of non-identifiable images unless otherwise stated in writing prior to the event.
Community Agreements: Participants are expected to engage respectfully and uphold FWR’s Shared Facilitation & Community Agreement, which centers multi-dimensional inquiry, equity, reverence, and awareness.
Accessibility & Support: If you have any accessibility needs or support requests, please contact us in advance at connect @fourwatersrising.org We strive to make events accessible to the community, when possible, to the best of our capacity.
Surveys & Feedback: We ask that all participants complete a brief pre/post-event survey. Your responses help us sustain programming, demonstrate impact to funders, and improve future offerings.
Health & Safety Precautions: Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have had recent exposure to a contagious illness. We reserve the right to modify attendance or space capacity for health and safety reasons.

Data Storage & Protection
All information is securely stored on our event website and accessible only to authorized Four Waters Rising staff or facilitators. Data will never be sold, rented, or shared with outside parties.
Research & Evaluation
FWR may conduct research or evaluation to assess the effectiveness of our programs. Any participation in such studies is voluntary, and data used for reporting or publication will be de-identified to protect participant confidentiality.
Media & Documentation
Photos or recordings may occur at select events for community storytelling. You may opt out by informing us before or during the event.

Event Accessibility Information
Four Waters Rising strives to make our programs and gatherings as accessible and inclusive as possible, while also acknowledging that accessibility may vary depending on the event location, facility capacity, and available resources.
We are committed to continuously learning and expanding our accessibility practices. Whenever possible, we seek to:
Select venues with ground-level or ramp access
Provide accessible seating and rest areas
Offer virtual or hybrid participation options
Share materials in digital formats
Collaborate with interpreters or translators when capacity allows
